Biography

Born in 1977, in Lisbon. Lives in Óbidos

Self-taught painter since 2002

Degree in fine arts by the college of arts and design of Caldas da Rainha in 2013

\"The painting has a very important place in my life, serves as a pillar of support for the recovery of my son who suffered a stroke only with six months of pregnancy. His blindness did grow further my passion for color, the main reason which leads me to create.\"

Conceição Lourenço was born in 1977, in Lisbon. Since 2005 lives in Óbidos.
She started to paint in 2002 as a self-taught painter,year when she became a widow, discovering the colors a form of expression with intimate character.
Since 2003 has participated in several exhibitions.
In 2006 her fourth child was born, who suffered a stroke at six months of pregnancy in 2006. Since then the painting is increasingly important because it helps pay the treatments for his recovery.
\"love painting because I am a passionate about color, and the blindness of David made me learn more and more about its importance. I think the relationship blindness/colour/forms makes me want to paint with colors becoming more vivid.\"
In 2010 she joined the course of fine arts at the
School of Art and Design of Caldas da Rainha and completed the course in 2013.
At the moment she studies to the degree of master in fine arts.
Since then also participated in various short film festivals
